Hi,

I'm in th process of building the confidence boost pedal, I soldered all the parts yesterday and on first try the pedal was very noisy. The noise sounds like an earth fault and I think I may need to check my soldering.

I was wondering If the kit could be used as an actual pedal? For example if I add a footswitch and use it to reduce the guitar signal for cleaner sounds through my amp (like when you back off the guitar volume but put it after my noise suppressor to avoid the violin effect).

Could anyone help advising me in how I do this as I have a very limited knowledge of electronics?
