Build Your Own Clone Message Board

So, when I engage the pedal, and I'm not touching the switch or my strings, I get a buzzy humming sound. Reading around and I think its a grounding issue?

The pedal works fine. I have several other builds that don't have this issue...they're all connected to my DC-Power Brick.

I have tried taking the 5kC out of the chain and using a battery and the issue still persists.

I can post some pics if needed, just thinking you guys probably know what to check for...

Loose jacks?

they're pretty tight...

could leaving washers out create issues? sometimes they rattle when you flip the case over, so it seemed like they weren't doing much and I took them out...

Then wiring may be suspect. Check jack physically too. Maybe the tongs need to be bent to make good contact??
