 Post subject: 855 Drive AC jack

Hi there everyone, first time posting here:

I'm part way through an 855 drive build (my second BYOC project after the Confidence Boost) and am at the part where I mount the AC jack to the enclosure. However, the jack in my kit looks rather different from the one in the instructions, and I can't fit the nut over the jack to secure it to the enclosure either, it always seems to go on at an angle no matter what I try.

There's a pic below to illustrate my point.

Am I missing something or do I have an incorrect part here?

Same jack but with a different mounting procedure: push the black part through the enclosure hole from the inside and secure the nut from the outside. This makes it easy to undo your pedal for refinishing or troubleshooting.

As far as the nut goes, it does fit usually. It may be that the thread is bad on the nut.
