Howdy friend's, welcome to the Mighty Mouse support thread.
Im gonna do my very best to help you out but in order to do so and to keep this thing running smooth, I would appreciate it if you keep a few things in mind when using this forum.
So you have a problem. You just spent two day's lovingly painting your enclosure and carefully soldering each magical little component one by one to the board. You plug in your guitar, kick that 3pdt into gear, strum the first powerchord that comes into your hand and.....nothing, except the sound of your heart sinking in your chest when you realise, all is not good in the hood.
Don't fret, help is at hand.
Firstly.......
Browse through the existing threads and try to find similar problem to yours. It's extremely satisfying to know you have deduced the solution from your own research and not had it solved for you, of course there's nothing wrong with that, it's what we're here for, but it does feel good and saves time.
Next....
So you can't find an answer? Start asking questions.
You probably noticed from the first step that it's not always obvious from the subject what the problem is. This should not be the case. Bear this in mind when writing yours and make it descriptive of your troubles, this helps out other people in the long run and may encourage people with a solution to read your thread.
When troubleshooting your build these things below are what i need to know about if possible...
1. Pic of the top side of your PCB.
2. Pic of the underside of your PCB.
3. Pic that clearly shows your footswitch/jack wiring and the wires going to the PCB
4. A pic that clearly shows your wiring going from the PCB to the pots and any other switches
5. Is bypass working?
6. Does the LED come on?
7. If you answer yes to 5 and 6, what does the pedal do when it is "on"?
I'll get back to you as soon as i can so please be patient.
One more thing and something i feel is very important and somewhat overlooked at times.
When we fix your problem(optimism folk's) please let us know and bring some kind of closure to the thread. A lot of these threads just halt abruptly and you can't tell wether the problem was solved or the person just gives up and dissapears. Don't be one of those guy's.
Thank's for taking time to read this
Paul
