Hi everyone, i'll try to make a short story, so you can understand my need......

3 weeks ago i got a deal with a canadian distributor for Grind Customs FX, in normal circumstances i would have deliver is first 10 pedal order past friday...

My problem his that my graphist friend have let me down, does'nt anwser on the internet, phone call and i already paid for the graphic job i need to get my enclosures laser etched.

I got 2 enclosure laser etched previously but i only used some .ai file of my main logo i had to see what it would look like.

I have all the graphic files (logo, icon) to get it made and also have the «quoted template» for the emplacement of everything on the enclosure.

So i ask if anyone of you would have the time to get this type of little job for me, i can pay you for the job or send you pretty much anytype of part you could need...even complete pedal projects...

This is a really hard event on my «ego», feel like i got raped and not up to the expectation of the distributor who put trust and money into my buisness........

I have until friday to get the pedal lot delivered.

Thanks

Rej

What i need is the graphic layout for 2 pedals, Chimaera and Clean Boost.

So it's basically, logo, name, knob identification, in and out, dc in.

I draw the «models», all is needed is too put everything in adobe illustrator or another vectoriel file format in a black on white scheme and it's done...

It's not big job........but i don't know how to do does thing or don't have the software for....

I can try to do it ... I have the software anyhow.

For anyone who definitely knows how to do this, don't take this offer as a fulfillment of Rej's needs here ... I'll have a go at it, but I won't say I can definitely do it!

Rej - send me the info (nagoda (at) gmail (dot) com), like the specific format that you need, etc., and the graphic files and see if I can get it sorted for you. No promises, though. :?

It's okay in metric - I think better that way anyhow (i.e.: it makes sense).

The metric system would kill Home Depot, Lowe's and every other home improvement store that gets 73.2% of its repeat business based on American dudes who can't figure out how to add 11/32" and 3/8" before cutting.

Since this subject comes in, i always found some stuff funny about that...., like here in Canada, metric system is what you learn at school, but every building store sells everything per foot....

Also the perfect example are the 16mm pot with 1/4inch shaft......

Seriously, is it written like that in the fender spec?

Both systems have their pros and cons, in the domain of construction, i beleive the english system is faster and easier to remember the measurments you have taken....maybe it's just me..

But when it comes to more precise stuff, metric is way ahead of sae....imo

No other place like here on the internet, i've said it before and i will always speak of the BYOC community like the forum with the most generous and kind people over the internet.....can't get better than here! 8)

It's not just for the help provided for builts, technical info, tutorial about pretty much anything, it's about the people. Seriously what i've asked here.......is hard on me, because it's for a «professional» or commercial purpose........not just for my own hobby needs....

I should be up to my game since i want to go that way........but i've failed and even with that.....helping hands comes to you....fabulous... :D

Ya metric is way easier even for an old school gent such as myself
everything is multiples of ten so if you can just stop comparing distance to aes and just go metric it is so much easier
