 Post subject: New Phaser

Picked up the EVH Phase 90 off a guy on craigslist for $50. It works perfectly but somehow the MXR logo is gone, which i think looks kinda cool(more room for EVH stripes!). And plus, the guy I bought it from didnt kill me and leave me in a ditch!
This pedal does have a trim pot on the inside which ive heard changes the voltage which acts like a depth knob, let me know if this is correct as i dont want to go turning the pot and watch the pedal melt.

Its probably a trim to set the FETs, you'll get a difference in the way it phases as you adjust it. Most of the turn you'll find that it doesn't phase at all, just passes signal and that theres a narrow sweet spot. Some folks put these on the outside, on the few pahsers I've built it doesn't seem to be worth the effort IMHO.

+1 I'm pretty sure its a bias adjustment for the fets which is very sensitive and has a really narrow sweet spot where you get the best sound out of it.
