CJ - thanks. I'll need it - my training has been infrequent due to shin injuries. Or, as I affectionately refer to them, shinjuries. My nemesis all through HS track and now again in my old age.

defaced - man you know how to party haha!

BTW I've decided that from here through the rest of my work day, because I have a major crunch on a client deliverable, I am listening to nothing but Fugazi.

Would much rather be heading to the largest Madeiran festival outside of the island of Madeira even if they did make me run 5k for the food and festivities.

Today is watch the clock, look busy, check BYOC ...repeat until I can go home this afternoon. No boss here, no coworkers ( in my group ) so I am the lone idiot I guess.

Saturday is a fun filled day of repairing the dryer. It has developed this infernal squeek that does not go well with my guitar playing at all. Last week was replace the ice maker, and fix a faucet in the kids bathroom. Home ownership is such a joy. I did find an awesome website to help though. http://www.partselect.com/ All you need is the model number of the appliance or whatever you are fixing and it will come up with a symptoms list. Pick your symptom and it tells you the parts that need replaced and the probability. For example Squeeky Dryer - 75% of the time the Drum Support Roller Kit is the culprit. They also have all the diagrams and even Youtube videos on how to do the repair. Drop dead easy. I repaired our Maytag washer last year that was making this horrble clunking noise for around $45 in parts as opposed to a new one. HIGHLY recommended website in these trying economic times </soapbox>

Other than than, Fajitas and Fresh Halibut on the grill and maybe the new Batman movie with the boys.

What's up with clients always wanting shit delivered? That's very annoying.

Now excuse me while I call up a vendor that needs to give me my shit.

Hey Ken, had my new washer a year or so ago, 3 months old maybe, motherboard was toast. All SMD of course as I had the guy save it. Once I saw that I tossed it too.

Tonight might be Total Recall and dinner somewhere. Sat/Sun is wide open as far as I know. I do have a few major projects but until the heat breaks (no rain hardly ever any more) I'm simply not touching them one of which is ripping out drywall to find a leak in the garage coming from outside the house, window sill likely.

Rest of today? I can either do what CP is doing and repeat or I've got a bunch of little nit picking crap that I could do if I get real motivated. Or I could play around with DMV's new Excel pot changes sheet :D

HAHA! Been on both sides of it (client side and vendor side) in my industry. I know where both sides are coming from. Yet it still always leaves me with 4 hours to do two days worth of work.

It's a long weekend here in BC so I have Monday off, but have to get my ass back to town first thing Monday morning as it is the bands last rehearsal before our big annual gig.

Beers, BBQ, family and sunshine. Perfect

That sounds like a blast.

So, I zoomed in hoping that was 2 naked chicks on the rocks. I don't think it is.

Sorry TN, not my photo, but I just grabbed it from a google search so I doubt there is any boob there. But I have definitely seen topless chicks there, some voluntary, some not so much after jumping off the rocks.

Trying to figure out how I got through checkout ($125.?? at Pedal Parts Plus using the BillMeLater option, and yet my Paypal account shows the money came from THERE, not BML?

Gonna throw some serious money in the next 24 hrs. I would kinda like to know which pocket I am emptying before I hit 'Submit'!

Trying to get answers to questions from vendors so I can finish up a project before I go on vacation. I HATE hurry up and wait......

Worked and then got some time to work on my first cigar box guitar. I've made plenty of mistakes so far, but I'm learning (hopefully) from them.
