I got the OD2 and a tremolo kit to build. My OD1 practice runn was such a success that I've gotta do some more.
I'd like to go with something other than the red LED or even change my OD1 LED to a green one. Is there a certain part number or size that I need to look for?
Thanks for the help,
12GAGE

Just about any 3mm LED should do. You can buy 'em anywhere (BYOC, mammoth, Ratshack). I tend to buy them from mammoth when possible because they're cheaper than most places (And I can bundle a bunch with a parts order) http://www.mammothelectronics.com/

http://www.taydaelectronics.com has some of the cheapest led's i seen. don't have a huge selection of colors, but your basic diffused and waterclear are well represented.

Just to clarify, I believe Crankston mis-typed.....5mm LEDs are what you are looking for as replacements in BYOC kits.

Thanks. I'm glad I didn't order any LEDs yet. I'm assuming that size is the outside diameter of the LED. I was going to bust out the calipers and measure one from my kit but haven't got around to it yet. I got my OD2 and Tremolo kit Friday evening and I'm just about done with the Tremelo. I'm planning on giving it to my Dad for his Bday. I'll post pics when I'm done.

You could have pretended that you were talking about the clipping LEDs?
