This one actually was completed during the forum blackout.

Her name is Hayley, she was born at 3am on the 28th of Jan. 4kg, 52cm. We're all doing well. She's a sleepyhead!

:D

Congrats man! I mean, I won't lie, I'm a tad disappointed not to find a completely DIY crybaby in here, but I suppose this will do! :P

It could be the lack of sleep … but I just read that as a masturbation joke.

Actually, being our third kid under 5, we're totally relaxed this time around. And it's clearly working: she settles, sleeps, feeds really well. Couldn't have asked for a better behaved baby.

Beautiful!

Did she come with an output buffer?

Nope. I'm considering whether it's a mod I'd need to make at this stage. Has anyone on the board modded their crybaby with a good output buffer? Is the mod hard to do? I'm afraid of damaging it with my clumsy soldering skills.

Does anyone have a silent switching mod for a noisy 2 year old boy? He's been adding a lot of hiss and squeal to my signal.

The hiss and squeal are both normal. Some people find this tone desirable, believe it or not. But I wouldn't run these two effects together unless you're in some kind of death metal band or something.

Yeah, I've had this idea for a kindergarten deathmetal band a long time now.
My 10months old daughter loves Morbid Angel, especially Domination
