Bendrive (Madbean Serendipity)

It has the AD712 in it, I tried it with a TL072 (one fith the price) just to see if I could hear a difference...and, (suprising myself) thought I could.
Thanks to the generosity of Kunfuz for the ribbon. :D

Here's how it might look if you've been eating mushrooms.

That looks great. Very neat wiring inside.

It reminds me that I need to rip apart my Zendrive and rewire it. It was one of the first pedals I built and my wiring wasn't as neat.

Thanks gents!
Eggplant- that's the word I was looking for! :D I was going to try to describe the color and 'wine' just wasn't right...
CJ, I just can't get away from that 'vertigo' graphic (as it seems to be called) either, folks just keep asking for it.
Pickdropper, neat is good, but working is gooder.
TN, I sure haven't figured out the best way to deal with ribbon cable yet. :|
Sure, it seems like a good idea, but it's an absolute pig to strip and get into the holes, maybe there's some sort of special tool I'm missing...I don't know Rick (FC) manages to do it the way he does.
Grindy, the AD sounded smoother and clearer...$10 clearer? -that's harder to say...

Hmm, the ribbon you got there is 6x0,25/AWG24. Shouldnt be hard to shove so to speak.
I also got 6x0,14 but that's like AWG28 and really really thin.
What stripper you using mate?

No complaint about the product... The tricky part is getting 3-6 wires equally spaced, straight and aligned to slip into their respective holes.
My strippers are the scissor kind, but it's difficult to strip the ribbon without fraying the wires. Is there a stripper that will do several at once? (I know, open season for stripper jokes now...)

Oh, thought you meant the wire was too thick for the holes :D
I use the pistol autostripper kind, never have any trouble with that.
Just make sure you separate the wires equal before striptease :P
Good luck mate, and I'm honored to have my pif in your pedals Ben!
