Can anyone explain how to set this up? I want to know how I can load the vector enclosure templates and then make drilling templates, decals, etc.
I know I just need some initial direction and I'll catch on, but I need some help.

I checked both vids a few times. Some helpful information for sure, but I'm still not getting anywhere besides getting a little frustrated.

In yours, you start by loading up a file of an enclosure. How did you do that? I have the vector pack but it's just one PDF. I know I can drag items over, so am I supposed to drag the enclosure layout over, and set it as one template so that the hardware will sync with it? If not wont The jacks, etc. be using the entire page as the "area"?
I'm having trouble getting started... But I'll give it another shot.

for starters, you want the EPS version of the vector pack. Head over to http://www.ontheroadeffects.com/vectorpack to grab it.

The PDF version doesn't have layers, so you can't move things around individually. I haven't fooled around with Inkscape, but maybe someone can help you import the EPS files if there's more to it than File>Open.

Inkscape automatically pops up a conversion window when you open the EPS. AND when you get it opened be aware that you need to do a lot of un-grouping to isolate and copy the symbol you want. Once you get a symbol, lets say a Davies 1900K knob, isolated you will then need to re-group the knob outline and its white cursor line. Otherwise when you copy and paste the knob to your pedal drawing you will lose the white cursor.

BTW - thanks for making your vector pack available. :)
