I have to built a TS9 tubescreamer clone with mods similar to the Keeley.

Anyone have a layout in that fashion?

Or, i thought of using the Sabro TS9 layout that works perfectly and just perform the mods to it.

I would just need to know wich value have to be changed...

Thanks!

Your best bet would be to use the sabro 808 layout and add the mods to it.

-Replace the 4.7k with a value between 2.7k and 1.5k. This will give you more maximum distortion.
-Replace the 51k with a 20k. This will give you less distortion at the minimum setting.
-Replace the 510k input impedance resistor with a 620k (sabro layout this is R2)
-Replace the two .22uf caps with .15uf(tantalum or film) to improve the freq. response of the tone knob.
-Replace the .047uf cap with .1uf or .22uf to increase bass and reduce the mid hump.

Use MPSA18 transistors, and replace the 1uf electros with film caps(looks like these already are film in the sabro layout). Try out different IC's to see if you can find the magic mojo one. Keeley uses the RC4558 I think.

Thanks man!

Will do!

Yeah, i have couple different IC's to work with.., in the previous «stock» TS9 i did, i used a RC4559, was pretty cool sounding.
