I'm finally getting around to putting my wah kit together & I've decided to install a switch to take the buffer in & out of the circuit. I'm going to mount it under the rocker, and I was thinking it would be useful to have an indicator LED to tell me its status.

I've searched the forum & haven't come across anyone having done this. Can it be done?

My switch is a DPDT.

You would need a 3PDT toggle switch.

Thanks DIYorDIE.

Another question, this time regarding the LED for the stomp switch; I understand the negative leg of the LED goes to the switch (with a limiting resister) and the positive leg goes to 9v positive, but where exactly is 9v positive? Is it the positive part of the dc jack on the board and the positive part of the battery on the board? Would I need to connect it to both?

You want to connect it to the + terminal of the DC jack... not the + for the battery.

Thanks for your help on this DIYorDIE.

The wah is built a few weeks now & I still can't get over how good it sounds!
