Hi everyone! DJ Zero here again. Here's a back to school mix, tinged with a DIY theme.

First up, a tune I was unfamiliar with until a recent trip down to the Ozarks. My wife's satellite radio can be a bit of alright now and then. Enjoy!

Continuing the "circuit" theme. From FLA's brilliant "Hard Wired". Please throw horns for a young(er) Devin Townsend on guitar. Enjoy!

A little freakout break from Brainticket.

Last I checked, solder was a soft metal, right? This one is nice and live, too!

No theme-link, here. Just been enjoying these guys recently. Very cinematic. Dig!

"Did you say new Haujobb!?!?" Why yes, yes I did. Watch the nice Germans restore a classic car. And maybe dance a little, too!

Thanks for tuning in, and may all of our GPA's soar to new heights this semester :D

Count Zero: override.

And let's not forget that this guy was the original drummer for Napalm Death. Mick Harris makes the most evil sci-fi music found on this planet....

So my wife has had me going fishing every day for the last three days. Lots of fishing, very little catching. This has me in a metal mood. That, and all of the amazing builds coming through the "Show Off" thread. Keep 'em coming, my friends!! Here's what's been rolling through my headphones. Enjoy!

Get your 80's on like a mofo

Sorry for the intro ad, but it's worth it

this album sounds like it has somehow been teleported here straight from the 70s. im sure these guys are om some of youse guys' radars' but if not you should youtube them up.

Checked out the Sheepdogs - good stuff, just not my style of 70's retro (for reference, I'm into Howlin' Rain, Blitzen Trapper, Black Mountain, etc...). Still, though, I like seeing "real" bands getting props and 'coming up' - I'm always afraid it will all end one day . . .

In the meantime:

Checking out this track now - kind of Santana's backing band meets the Moody Blues. I dig this!!!

Added both of their albums available on spotify to my playlist, rocking them now. AWESOME. On track 3 of Trying To Grow, called 'It's Alright'. Very early 70s. So very good!! Thanks tooly!

TD I have to tell ya, you have an open mind to music. Nice. I don't have it really but I guess that is my loss.

I have pretty wide ranging tastes, and i've always told myself that everything deserves a listen. Now sometimes stuff comes along, ok like CONSTANTLY on the radio nowadays, where my experience tells me that I do indeed hate what I am listening to and listening through it all the way with an open mind will not change that :)

But seriously this band rocks. Killer psychadelic/Santana styled lead guitar. I'm on my second album of the two that are available to me to check out (Trying to Grow and LEarn and Burn) and I haven't heard a single song I don't like yet.

DJ Zero says HELLO!

It's 911, so here's nice mix of my favorite sounds to come out of the Big Apple. Enjoy!!

Ted Parsons (drums) rules!!

And from 1989. The King of (New York, and) Industrial Music. This track fu**ing rips heads off. If you're lucky enough to hear it live, you're lucky to be able to hear anything again  8)

You say you don't like the darkness? Well that's just the color that's around..

Enjoy!! Hope everyone is having a super day! I know I am 8) 8) 8) Cheers!!
