I am working on a Gruntbox build and I got it together and get no sound when engaged. The led lights up when engaged, but no sound. When in bypass I can tap the loop side of the 3pdt with my little screwdriver and get audible confirmation of contact, on the other hand when I engage the circuit I get no noise when I tap where the input or output lugs on the 3pdt. I didn't bother to pre test the circuit before putting it in the enclosure like a fool. This is the first gruntbox to be troublesome.

so you're getting no bypass either? could be the switch. i'd pop the sucker out and check for appropriate continuity.

Well, it's not the switch, I metered it and the pots. I get noise when the vol pot is at 12 o'clock position but no output of guitar.
Went over all the pads with a hot iron again and checked orientation on my diodes, caps, and transistors. Still nothing. The quest continues......
