Nanny leaves the day my wife gets back from trip so that's fine. We got our old daycare on board already for help till we find a replacement. That preamp is awsome, I just got to replacement stylus ans needles from LP Gear and I took turntable apart to clean. That's from 1978 Technichs 1900 series. I love playing my vintage UFO, Roll let it Roll let Roll. The Kinks sound fantastic thru it to

Knowing me I put it in another sleeve of the next album I wanted to play. So I'll be going thru all my albums looking for it, I used to dream I was playing that red v when I was a kid

Belgian style ale in a can! Funny name & labeling, too. Very tasty.

If you can find this, buy it. You will not regret it. Friends brought some back from St Kitts, and when I tried it I had to get some for myself. Nowhere local had it, soni started calling NH state liquor stores and found some in an out I the way location in a shopping plaza in Manchester. I bought two of the last 3 bottles in NH, probably all of New England. The distro said he thought it would have been really popular but it wasn't selling... I left one in case some other poor soul was looking for it the way I was. That was a few years ago now, I wonder if it's still there...

Edit - poured over whiskey stones so as not to water down the goodness.

RAS! Awesome. It will match the BAS and SAS this thread (and the whiskey thread) has given me.

Drinking hot tea, honey, lemon & whiskey for medicinal purposes here too.

Several years back we had a going away party for some British folks and I drank 3/4 bottle of Jameson and then tossed two glasses of champagne on top...wasn't a good morning!

Finally tried this - tastes very good, but kinda flat. Maybe this bottle sat around under the store's lights a little too long:

Also tried this earlier, forgot to snap a pic of the pour, but it was oh-so-good:

Oh well, I guess we're bound to get a bad bottle once in a while.

Tried this the other night, but forgot to post. Probably because it knocked me out and sent me to bed, lol..
