Both of these are pedal enclosures I finished a long time ago, but never got around to using..

The swirl on the left I've nicknamed the FIRE PONY. (the now-defunct Pony from GuitarPCB, which was gifted to me by my PIFmas partner :D )

The dragonfly pedal is an OCD.

Both sound fantastic!

Yes, they are rub-on decals from Michael's Craft store. They are translucent, so they blend right in with whatever color you're working with..

Love the two very different finishes! Fire Pony colors fit the name ;)

Did you put a finish over the rub-on decals?

Just a clear coat spray.. it was already powdercoated.

Nice. Which type/brand of clear coat? I'm thinking of doing some rub-on decals soon.

Tough to say, I did the encloure more than a year ago. Might have been Duplicolor Truck/SUV, but any brand should be fine.. those decals won't go anywhere, they stick down quite well.

You guys and your gut shots *eyeroll*.. Aint you never seen the inside of a pedal before? Here, I'll tell you what it looks like on the inside of these fine pedals: there's a circuit board of some sort, loaded with pretty little colored resistors and capacitors and such.. Some jacks, pots, a switch.. Some wires to connect it all together. There are most likely NO pictures of nekid ladies, or lolcats, or leprechauns, etc..

;-)

Looks great, PPG.

Look great dude! How do you like the pony? I never got around to building one.
The swirl reminds me of dragonfly, as do the dragonflies

I actually dedicated it to our own dragonfly when I first posted the enclosure.. I learned a lot from his swirl tut, and then there's his many layouts..

The pony is really cool, it gets pretty high gain, and the tone control has a real nice sweep, so it's capable of a lot of good sounds.. I'm glad I had a chance to check one out!

Jefe- thanks for the backup  They all do look pretty much alike on the inside, but I get it- sometimes when you are building something it's nice to see a finished one, to compare cap types, wiring choices, etc..

...and of course to hunt the mojo.. 8)

No problem, buddy ;-)

I get it too.. I like seeing the guts, but I dont care if someone forgets to post them. I'm just busting grindy's balls. One of these days, I'm gonna post pics of a Behringer re-house, complete with gutshots, and see if anyone notices.

I agree that a pedal is a pedal.....but! Like PPG said it's fun to see how people approach certain design and what they use. I only like to see the guts, in case i would see some method or «technique» that i would'nt have seen before. Just curiosity, wich is the behaviour that brang human on top of the food chain!Haha!

End of Hijack :)

Here's your damned guts

TNB- I do still use the turntable, and the food processor, but this swirl pre-dates both of those methods. I got lucky with probably a toothpick or a straw on this one
