Do you have decent soldering skills and have you read THIS?

You have several questionable looking solder joints on your PCB. The + pad of C9 for example. A few more include the top and bottom of R14 & 16, the battery harness wires, the top and bottom of C6, the top of C1. These all look cold and solder starved. I recommend going back over your work and re-soldering these connections before moving on.

There are a couple there that might be questionable, but overall it looks pretty good. The one that I would reflow is the upper eyelet of D1--looks like a partial hole in that joint, but it might be just a trick of the camera/lighting.

Something you might want to do is just check some of the joints that are very close to each other but not connected with a trace--be sure you don't have any solder bridging between them. A useful technique I've found is to hold up the PCB with a strong light source in back of it and look "through" the board. The fiberglass is translucent enough that light transmits through it well enough to see solder bridging or stray bits of solder as opaque spots. These can then be cleaned up/removed, either by scraping gently with the blade of a small screwdriver or (for bridging) remelting and, if necessary, using some desoldering braid to absorb excess solder.

thanks! I went back and re soldered d1 and used a flat head screw driver and scrapped some of the soldered that was to close to other joints. I think its good to go and move on!

thanks for all the help!
