It should'nt be that bad, and i'm sending some to GuitarBen, in a trade we have, i think that could be cost effective.

I can have 4 of those CTS Pots with no problem. :)

So? Confirmed?

Yep, those are available, look at the first post, you'll see what are the available values :)

Maximum of 5 per value.

Thanks

Hey Rej, if you are getting any of those 550K pots, I would take one too, even at the higher price I will save on shipping in the end if you send it with the caps.

Yup. That vid posted at the end was great. I personally have ears of lead (hence my screen name) and I can hear the difference in cap types. It's subtle of course but it's there. Definitely preferring the PIO type.

Got to mention that the .022uf caps will be PETP, the PIO in that value where no more available.

But Spec for Spec, you'll get the same results.

If you guys want to make some changes to order because of that it's no problem, i forgot to mention it at first....my bad.

Bump, for available capacitors!

And i will have the CTS 550K pots in hand next week, they get shipped monday, the price of these will be 7.50$, they usually retail for 10$, it's the one custom made for Bare Knuckles Pickups.

They cost me 6$ each, so with shipping that what it really costs me, i don't make any money on that, just so you know, just happy to make these available. :)

Ok, I re-read this thread and I realized I yet again cannot do simple math. I need two of the 550 pots, not just one please Rej, and will bump my order to two of each kind of cap if I can. Durrrrrrrrr

Hey Rej, just an idea here if you want, but you could post here who has ordered what, that way each person knows what they have on record with you?

I just started to make the shipping quote for those who sent me their address, but this is stupid....lol, i mean, it cost half the price to ship to US compared to CAN and same price to ship oversea than US. :|

So what i'll do, since this is pretty random and depending on how i package your order will change the price of shipping, i'll send you guys the invoice once it's shipped.......

I don't think that i'm taking any risk here, because i have full trust in all of you guys :)

Man, the Canada Post rate calculator is a total piece of garbage, its impossible to use, and impossible to get any kind of accurate rate quote out of it.

Ya man, I have found the only way to be sure it to take it in there and have them weight and measure it. I was trying to figure out a rate to the UK and the calculator came up with $40 for the cheapest air mail. When I phoned and talked to them they said $12.

I have sent small padded envelopes to the states for about $2, just fyi.

The Thickness of the package seems to have a lot to do with it, ie you are better to use a larger box/envelope and spread stuff out so it is thin, rather than using a smaller, but more squareish box.
