Build Your Own Clone Message Board

It’s been a while. Like, I think a whole two years. However, I am still alive and decided to pop back and say “hey!” So what’s up with you cats?

As for me, two years ago my husband and I bought a house and I got a new (full time!) job. After getting settled in at work and finishing up house projects, I started teaching lessons again in the evenings at a local guitar shop. Sadly, the shop closed at the beginning of the year, and now I have this magical thing called FREE TIME! in my evenings. The work bench has been dusted off and the soldering iron is plugged back in.

I’ve been going through old projects I started and gave up on, so look forward to some questions from this kid. I also realized that I was a board hoarder and I will never be able to do all of the projects I want, so I’ll be putting some goodies up on the Sale & Trade board.

In other news, I’ve started on my first Cigar Box Guitar. Anyone else tried to make one of these?

let's see, what have you missed.. I started a pedal side-biz (see link below), there was a big board crash where lots of posts were lost, everyone's building Klon(es) right now, and uh.. there's a guy from Tennessee now who surpassed my post count probably in the first month he joined.

Edit: Oh, to answer your question, Lego builds cigar box guitars. Not sure who else. You can find Lego in the beer thread in the show your build forum, although he got SQL'd like me so it appears he only recently jumped into that thread. I almost bought one of his when he auctioned it off last year.

'got SQL'd'. I love it. In my line of work there's a lot of SQL programming. I will be using this one for sure!

John, I think it all started when P-Watts posted that video of his girl playing with the lighted sign and I thought he was a girl. Then I was corrected by Chris and you asked if there were any girls on the board.
