Was about time! A klone for me!

Picture really tells nothing about the finish.... :(

It's a color changing paint depending of the light and angle of view...goes from magenta to dark green to blue, brown copper..well...pretty much every color!

Awesome build! I can see where that paint would change with angle and light.

I know the pics don't give justice, but it still is a really nice finish.

You have to apply a black coat at first and than the color changing, for your information, that Rustoleum can cost around 30$...........better be nice!

Well, i really need a Decimator now......with the clean boost pumping into the A** of the Klone....i get super chunky/articulated/violent chugging tone.....but it's a bit noisy...nothing bad...just the fact of having alot of gain going on....

Also, this is the true bypass version of the layout, i omitted the 2.2M pulldown resistor....was'nt a turd.....so it doe'snt belong there, but seriously, no popping sound or nothing! 8)

There is a guy in our neighborhood who has a late model Impala painted in that stuff. It is one of the strangest sights!

love that color changing paint. midnight rain from ppp has a similar effect.

sabrotone has an decimator layout. if you end up trying it, i'd love to know if yours sucks tone as much as mine does. Maybe i havent hit the sweet spot on the trimpot yet (note to self, make than an external pot), but maybe it's just my build...I have read about it in other forums and people swear it doesn't suck their tone.

I may have a etched decimator pcb coming my way....., if not i'll go for the sabro layout, wich i'm pretty sure is right on top of it's game, never had bad layouts with sabro! :)

I have some of that same stuff in a rattle can. It's a bit finicky to get it to work right (it's all in the priming and layering) but when it does, man it's cool. Though it always reminds me of the Ford Probe limited edition that came out in the mid 90s in the flip flop paint. Remember that?
