Love those harlequin guitars, Stephen! But your sexy rack system offends me on a deep, personal level.

Too lazy to collect all my guitars for the pic, but here's my current gigging amp/pedal rig:

bottom row of pedalboard is the electric signal (100% diy), top row is the acoustic rig.
Cabs are Lopolines with 12" ceramic Celestion G12H and 10" alnico weber blue pup.
Egnater Tweaker head.

I'll post this as links as the pics are too big really:

MJW Goldstar (6V6 version), MJW 1x12 with a G12H - I never leave the house ;)
The Badger - Baja Tele, BKP BG50/Mule pups
Stratosonic - BKP-91 pups
TV Master - Telemaster partsocaster, TVJ Powertron Plus pup
The Precious - Feline 'Purple Lion' (it's all it was ever referred to as), BKP Rebel Yell pups

Then there's, errm, the pedals... and that's only the DIY ones

I heard that Bruce Springsteen(I think?) lays his cabs on their backs so the speakers face upward

Got a tell you Rob, i don't use it for Fuzz at the moment, but as a Synth/Octave/Tuba sounding thing..... 8)

With exactly the setting pictured, when on the lead channel, i kick the Ojo in on single note echoed shit....it sounds so deep and mean....with some unstable glitching and then comes back to some sub-sonic frequency....IT'S KILLER!

Well, I dont have any pics of my amp or guitar (Fender Hot Rod Deluxe III and a 2008 Gibson SG Standard) but here is my board. Rearranged a bit since then but same stuff. I built everything but the wah, TU-2 and the Ibanez Digital Delay. I was finally going to get around to painting my diy pedal board tonight, but I dropped the rattle can and snapped the cap off.

It goes Kill switch _> Fuzz Face -> Wah -> Ross Comp -> Dr Boogie -> Poindexter -> Rat -> OD2 -> V6OD -> Confidence Boost -> Stutter Trem -> Chorus -> Ibanez Delay

BradWorld, that's practically more amp awesomeness than I've ever even 'tried out' at music stores.. what a great collection!

DuctTape- how much do you keep your comp on? With all the OD's, Distortions, Fuzz or only for some? I ask because I have my comp at the front of the chain, and I'm always looking to improve the effect order.

Those fuzzes and boosters drain way below 100 mA each, more like 20mA-ish

My Board---Wah--Morc--Cor50--ODC---FullBore Metal--Divided Octave--Babylon Fuzz--Chorus--Phase Royale--Shoot the Moon--Ping Pong delay--RC-2 ----Killswitch-------Ideally I would like the fuzz closer to the start of my chain but I have been switching it up because I LOVE it after the Divided octave ..... maybe I need another one at the start too

You know, I am still figuring out the compressor. I have never had one before, never even played with one really. I find right now, i am mostly using it as an effect, ie turning it on when I really want to goose the sustain for a solo, or for that last endless chord in a song. I know a lot of people use compression as an "always on" type thing, but I haven't quite figured that out yet. For me I like to use a lot of picking dynamics in my playing, and I find the compressor squashes that out a bit?? I did read a bit about compressor placement, and generally what I read said if you are going to have it always on, it should be at the front of the chain, if you are going to use it with a specific effect, it should go after that effect (likely in a loop)? I am sure others will have much more informed thoughts on placement and use though.
