Yawn, I've finally jumped on the Klon Klone Bandwagon...
They do sound good though. Mine is especially good, I've got my own special unobtainable Ge diodes. :wink:

What is that enclosure 1590B? I tried to fit one in those and have'nt been able... :(

When I said I was too lazy to fit it right way up, it was because I was too lazy to keep filing the board down. :wink:

I tried to fit, just the pcb in those enclosure and i was just not fitting....maybe 4site are different from yours...dunno.....

And..........what is it about those Ge Diodes? when i read un-obtainable, my brain translate to: Got a get some Now!hahaha

I picked them up frm my man in Odessa a while back.
They have an even lower forward voltage than 1N34A.
Here's the low-down.( :wink: )

Also found some «miesza» ge diodes.....may grab a bag for the heck of it....

Yup, got a couple of those in my own Klone (see photo below). They're made with germanium that has been doped with unobtainium mined from asteroids by Soviet cosmonauts. You gotta be careful with them, though! Remember: In Soviet Russia, diodes clip you!
