Just finished my stock ts 808 spec screamer, but it doesn't work. When turned on there is some "white noise" and the LED works, but that's it. The knobs effect the volume, but still just static sound. There's nothing, no signal or anything in bypass mode, and I can't tell what's wrong looking at the pedal. I will really appreciate your guys' opinions and help, here's some pics.

Seriously... do you really expect someone to give you a hand given how blurry the pics are?

Since bypass mode is completely independent of the circuit, the description tells us something even if the pics don't. You should look at the jack and switch wiring. You definitely have a problem there.

Actually, I believe I can spot an obvious mistake in the switch wiring. Look at switch pins 2 and 4.

It looks like you're using way too much solder.
If you have a factory built pedal, open it up and look at those joints -- obviously yours won't look that nice since they're not done by a machine, but with practice a good joint shouldn't take much more solder than what you'd see on a factory built pedal.
But I don't think that's your problem, like rog said it's probably the switch wiring, although it's hard to tell what you did wrong unless we get some better quality photos.

Get some better quality photos if it all possible, there should be a button or option on your camera with a flower on it, I think it's called macro film or something -- this mode is for taking close up pictures, and make sure to use good lighting and hold the camera as steady as possible.

Not that hard to tell... look at lug #2 of the switch. It certainly seems to be connected to the input jack tip. This is incorrect. It should connect to the sleeve of the jack. Also, lug #4 appears to be connected to the input jack sleeve. Instead, it should be connected to the tip of the jack.

You're absolutely right, I missed that.
Embarrassing when the most obvious problems slip you by
Rog is correct, you mixed up the wires going to the sleeve and tip of the input jack -- switch those two around.
Also, is this just my imagination or is there a glob of solder going from lugs 4 to 5?

Yeah I am sorry about the poor photography guys, but thanks for the help nonetheless. Believe it or not this pedal is MUCH cleaner than my first build, which still works, and I am very happy with it. (Digital Delay). Lugs 4 and 5 aren't connected. I will switch those connections you guys pointed out from lugs 2 and 4 tomorrow, then let you know what happens. Thanks so much!

You should still get some better pics posted.

For all we know, you could have a few resistors and/or capacitors in the wrong place and since we can't see the color codes on the resistors or the cap values... I think you get the idea.

i actually don't think it's a problem with the switch wiring. you said you get noise when engaged and that the volume control adjusts the noise, right?

Take a closer look at the wiring, Rog pointed out an obvious error where he mixed up two wires.
Judging from those solder joints it's quite possible there could be more problems, but the switch wiring definitely needs to be fixed before we address those issues (if there is any).
His bypass isn't working so that is most definitely the switch wiring.
