Q: Do you ship overseas?
A: No. I'm sorry but we do not ship direct outside of the U.S. Please contact your closest
international distributor www.buildyourownclone.com/distributors. And yes, we are completely
aware of the current price of the dollar. And yes, we are completely aware of our distributors
prices.
Q: Are your kits true bypass and if so which ones?
A: Yes. All of the kits offered here at BYOC are true bypass. And I don't mean "technically they
are considered true bypass". Every kit comes with a 3PDT footswitch which provides True
Mechanical Bypass. No quasi-photoMOS-relay-half-truth true bypass. This means when your
BYOC pedal is in bypass, your guitar signal has direct continuity from the input jack to the output
jack with absolutely no interruptions in between.
Q: UPS is so slow and I have a P.O. Box and they leave the box at my front door and I live in the
ghetto. Can you please ship my order via USPS?
A: No. No. No. A thousand times no. We only ship UPS. USPS does not work with our business.
Please do not ask us to ship USPS. If UPS does not work for you, then we cannot sell you a kit.
Q: I'm only ordering one PCB and the cost of shipping via UPS is more than my order.
Can you please ship via USPS first class so I don't have to pay so much for shipping?
A: No. We suggest you order more boards to offset the cost. BYOC PCBs are the best you will
find and cost less than most other similar boards of lesser quality. If you build one, you'll
probably be buying more, so you might as well get several of them.
Q: Do I need to know how to solder to build any of the kits?
A: No, but it certainly helps. BYOC pcb's have plated through holes which make soldering much
much easier than other pcb's so don't be afraid. But there are lots of instructional vid clips on the
net if you want a few pointers.
Q: Which kit should I get if I'm an absolute beginner?
A: Any of the kits. Some of the kits are more complex due only to the fact that they have more
parts. This means that they require more time to build, but they do not require any more skill to
build than the less complex kits. Just read and follow the directions. Take your time. And don't
beafraid to ask questions over at the forum board.buildyourownclone.com if you don't
understand a particular step. That's what it's there for.
Q: How long will it take for my order to ship?
A: Orders are usually shipped the same business day, but sometimes it can take longer if there
is a Holiday or "personal crisis" or if we are having a big sale. It should also be noted that paying
extra for 2nd Day Air will not cause your order to get processed any faster. Orders are
processed in the order that they are received.
Q: I'd like to do a particular mod when I build my kit. Can you drill the hole for me?
A: No. Please do ask to "customize" your kit. This includes drilling extra holes or drilling holes in
different places, swapping components, and excluding certain components from your kit for a
discounted price.
Q: Do you offer bulk pricing on kits and PCBs?
A: Yes. Email sales@buildyourownclone.com with an exact # of each item you need.

A: First thing is DO NOT attempt to build the kit with any remaining undamaged parts. . Email
sales@buildyourownclone.com A UPS driver will be by shortly to pick up the damaged package
and a new kit will be shipped out to you.
